Scammed

I was on Facebook marketplace and saw an ad for “Dick’s sporting goods”. The ad really looked legit. I purchased 4 items which were UGG boots. Put my information along with my banking card. Ordered items Checked my email and did receive a confirmation of purchase. I quickly checked my bank because I used my card almost 100.00. I thought ok its all good but then the tracking number was like from Asia. That was a red flag. I kept on checking the tracking status everyday and it would update package in other states. I would follow up with the email of [email protected] and received emails that my package was delayed. A month later nothing and then a email states we can't locate your package. So I request a refund through the same email and all I get as a response your refund is being processed but can't provide me a confirmation number. I was scammed. To good to be true on UGGs...my lesson learned I just want my refund.

I was on Facebook marketplace and saw an ad for “Dick’s sporting goods”. The ad really looked legit. I purchased an item. Put my information along with my banking card. Ordered item. Checked my email and didn’t see an email verification of purchase, so that was my first red flag. I quickly checked my banking account a seen a charge of 40.12. Second red flag was the amount was different at checkout. Third red flag was that I saw the charge was showing for ROMORYMSUSD STERLING CO. I quickly started to google and research, concluded that I got scammed.

Tomorrow morning when my bank opens, I will dispute charge and hope to not have to pay money.
