Dicks Sporting Goods imposter Reports & Reviews – Page 2 (31)

I saw an ad on Facebook under a Dick’s Sporting Goods page advertising ASICS sneakers on sale and ordered 3 pair. The order was placed on 11-26-23. I received a receipt from a company called Sunston Limited and they use an invoicing service called Stripe. I immediately was concerned because I ordered it from Dick’s. Needless to say, the shoes have never shown up, they say they were delivered, and they weren’t and I’m out the $47.76 that I paid for them. I see from the shipping info that they sent, it was a Chinese Company. If I had known this, I would not have ordered the shoes. I assumed the prices were so great because of the holiday sales that everyone was having. As it is, I have no shoes, I don’t believe they were ever shipped, and I’m out $47.76. I have emailed the company and gotten replies but they can take a week or longer to receive those. I don’t typically order much online but I thought if I’m ordering from Dick’s Sporting Goods…I was ok to order. Wrong!!! I have asked for a full refund of my money and told them that had I received the shoes, I wouldn’t be asking for a refund or saying the shoes never showed up.

I do believe that Facebook should have to hold the advertisers on their forum to higher standards and they hold some responsibility to people to investigate their advertisers and make sure they are legitimate. I know it’s all a money game, but these Chinese companies are getting out of hand. I will not order anything from any ad on Facebook again. I don’t order from Shein or Temu because I know they are Chinese companies. I feel deceived by the false advertising and I think they should return my $47.76 in full. I no longer want the shoes. This whole experience has given me a bad taste in my mouth on ordering anything on line.

on Instagram there's a add from DICK'S Sporting Goods stating there's a sale 4 hours only. For the NIKE AirMax 270's in all colors for just $26.99 per pair. This shoe regularly sells for $160.00.

This site also states that you can get 3 pair for $49.90. This site claims to be DICK'S Sporting Goods but they have a fully functioning website. It is definitely not DICK'S as DICK'S is not advertising this sale at all. The sale DICK'S is advertising in $91.77-$159.00 for the same shoes depending on the color you choose.

Link was on Facebook looked exactly like the Dicks sporting good website. When I ordered the cart went right to empty when I clicked through all the payment screens. Never received confirmation from Dicks so I tried again same thing. Next day I get a confirmation from a place called beceipt. With a confirmation number no company address or anything. I am calling my bank to cancel the two charges.

When I went to the authentic Dicks site I couldn't find evidence of an order. I contacted Dicks to make them aware of the fraud. They are currently investigating the occurrence.

I was sent an email from Dick's Sportinggoods stating I won an igloo cooler. I only had to pay for shipping. This email came directly after making a real purchase from inside a physical Dick's Sportinggoods location. I was then sent emails stating I really signed up for a service called Selected Premier Discounts and charged a fee! I have all emails saved. I then tried to contact the company via email to cancel and delete my information and was told it could only be done by phone!
