I fell for Marlow Market story (on Facebook, I think) about older gentleman who has spent his life hand making screech owl houses. He is too old to continue making them, wants to sell the houses he has in stock to help screech owls who are losing natural habitat. I thought I was ordering 2 completed/assembled handmade owl houses for total $161. What I rec'd was 2 boxes of factory made bird house pieces, a bag of screws, and small screwdriver and no directions. I was also billed an extra $10 for a framed garden letter I did not order and have not received. My credit card was charged $171. I emailed Marlow Market to complain, but did not hear back from them. I googled this situation and was not surprised to see this is a scam. I called my credit card company and they are handling this.

I placed an order for 2 handmade baskets on August 24, 2026. I have never received them. When I contacted them via email, they said the order was being delivered via GOFO. Then they said it was sent to the wrong address, then sent back to the distribution center. I never received the order and am out $130.00. Hopefully they won't hack my debit account.

I bought a birdhouse from Marlow Market. They said it was hand carved by Amos Hensley out of a solid piece of wood. It was made from porcelain. No wood at all.

I ordered three of these bird houses that were suppose to be made of wood instead they were painted molded plastic. TOTAL SCAM. The site looks to be German but it will not allow one to copy the site location. The entire description is a scam as is the website. Though offered a 30 day money back guarantee in order to get the money returned I had to ship the merchandise to HongKong, otherwise I could opt for a 25% refund. The items were shipped from California.

I ordered from Marlow market company. The product they promised is not even close. They are a deceiving, untrustworthy company. I tried calling the phone number, it's not working. I sent emails to the company without a return. This is a scamming company and it needs to be stopped.

I came upon this website advertising hand carved wooden birdhouses. I read the reviews on the website, saw that it was an older gentleman who carved these birdhouses and ordered 2 thinking I was helping a small business. What came was 2 plastic mass produced things, that I have no idea what to do with. This is a complete scam. Very, very disappointing.

It says they are selling hand carved wooden bird houses that are made in the USA, but actually they are made out of plastic and they come from Hong Kong. They even include a note that says it is a handmade product, but it is obviously not. If you want to return it, they email that you have to pay the shipping to Hong Kong or instead you can just get 25% of your money back.

From an ad on Google I ordered 1 Brenda's Handmade Garden Stake for $59. Was to be 3 feet tall and 2 feet wide. Received item was a flat metal stake 8"x10". Original order was UK. Mailed from: 2407-2457 W. North Avenue, Melrose Park, IL 60160

Bee hotel sold to me was of inferior quality, and would kill bees. Not what I want to do! The advertisement showed a craftsman in North Carolina. All fake. They said I should return bee hotel to Hong Kong, China, pay for shipping, and maybe get some money back. I refused, they later said we will send a half refund- never received. They have many different sites selling the fake “made by American craftsman” products. Their site does say, in very small letters, at the bottom of the page, that the photos are of actors.
