I saw an ad for Dick's selling shoes. I went to the website, which looked like Dick's, and ordered the shoes. The order was confirmed and I was given tracking numbers. It was taking a long time so I contacted the email on the page. It's been over a month and I still haven't gotten my shoes, so I went back to the site and it's no longer Dick's, it's something else. I finally got an email saying my shoes were delivered, but they weren't. I contacted the email again and they haven't responded.

On 12/26/24, I was scrolling through Facebook. I saw what appeared to be Dick's Sporting Goods page. There was merchandise on sale at discounted rates. I thought it was because this was after Christmas. I ordered an XL coffee colored wintered coat, on sale for approximately $29.99, before taxes and shipment charges. I paid by card. On 12/27/2024, I received an email from the Sporting Goods Holiday Shopping Goods ([email protected]) regarding a shipment update. I noticed a charge of $47.23 from my transactions by "Isinollc" from Hong Kong. Occasionally, I would check the tracking to see where the package was. The package appeared to come from Hong Kong, China. The script was in Chinese. The information was vague.

I received packages from China in the past, and the information was more detailed. I received packages in the past within 2-3 weeks when they originated in China, so initially I didn't see an issue.

Around 1/14/2025, I reached out to Dick's Sporting Goods to inquire about my package. As soon as I told the rep the package came from China, I was told that the order wasn't from Dick's Sporting Goods, and this might be a scam. I sent an email to [email protected] inquiring about my package, because at this point the tracking information disappeared. On 1/15/2024, they responded to my email, saying "Hi, Sorry for keeping you waiting for so long. your order has been packed and shipped and is being delivered to its destination." Then provided me with my tracking number, and they sent me the website to look up my tracking.

According to the tracking, the package, which was supposedly at the mail facility in my neighborhood, was out for delivery on 1/30/2025. On 2/1/2025, I sent another email inquiring about my package, that I still did not receive. When I checked my tracking later that day, it said the package was delivered. It was not delivered. I sent another email, saying the package was not delivered. On 2/2/2025, they claimed the package was delivered. It was not.

I looked up this company, and I see that I am not only person this has happened to.

Tried to place order on 12/18/2024. Credit card would not go through. Called Dicks sporting goods number on scammers website. Customer service said not legit. So I stopped placing order. 3 days later, 12/21/24, received email that said confirmation of sale. Immediately emailed them to cancel. No reply from company. As of today, 12/22/24, I haven't been charged by them but am keeping an eye on my account.

Same email posing as Woman Within, I ordered clothing and shoes on 11/12/24. On 12/10/24, I contacted them through email asking where my package is. 12/11/24 I emailed them because it said package was delivered, which it was not. They said would be resent fed ex within 7-10 days. Not received. Asked to be cancelled but no reply. Was charged $56.42 on my credit card on 11/12/24. Today I contacted my credit card company, and they reimbursed me for the 56.42.

I didn't realize they were the same email until after Dicks sports outlet sent me an email 3 days later.

- Dunn, NC, USA

The scammer post a real advertised Dick’s Sporting Goods through Facebook and they have a link to click to buy shoes. The link uses Dick’s Sporting Goods name and logo and pictures but it has VIP in it. The scammer did not accept payment from a credit card which I thought was unusual but it did go through my bank account debit so they have my phone number name address and debit card information, they withdrew the money for the total of the shoes by the name of SAUCESHU. I have not received the shoes yet because it has not been time to ship them. However, I doubt I ever will or they will not be the shoes they are supposed to be there is no phone number to contact the people and they have not responded to my emails. I looked at today’s comments on their Facebook reels, and they have links that there are supposed to be to buy the shoes but it’s links to amusement parks and all sorts of other crazy stuff.
