Phishing Scam
I looked into them, and seems like it might be some large scam, but it is hard to tell completely.
Red flags:
1. Their website is weird, the numbers keep moving on certain things that shouldn't, and their staff and board listings have no photos.
On top of that, check out who all is listed on their Investment Board of Trustees. It's seems basically too "good" to be true.
Do they really have WARREN BUFFET, LARRY PAGE, MICHAEL BLOOMBERG, JIM WALTON, MACKENZIE SCOTT, GIOVANNI FERRERO, MIRIAM ADELSON, JACKELINE MARS, all on the their board? That makes me skeptical.
2. Their Facebook page, created in 2020, has only 7 likes and 9 followers.
3. Their DHS Group Instagram page has 0 posts, 2 followers. Why would they list such a thing on their website if they're a multi-million investment firm?
4. They misspell their name on their org history page as DSH and say it has a NYSE symbol of DSH Holdings, which is a different company.
5. I called their number and requested an appointment, and it was shady. They took my name and number and said someone would call me back, but it also sounded like the voice was speaking though a computer or an AI voice. I asked about booking an appointment in their DC office for personal investment services. They said they'd have to get back to me and didn't ask many relevant questions that I'd expect an investment firm to ask.
6. None of any of their posts on their social pages have any interactions.
7. The photos and profiles they created on LinkedIn are stolen images of other successful CEOs, but their company DHS Group or DHS Ventures, does not exist. They
