Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received a text about putting advertisement on my car for a few months and I would be paid $450.00 per week. I answered that I would be interested and several days later I received a text telling me I had received a check, I had not received said check. The next day I did receive the check and I sent them a text telling them I did receive it. They sent instructions to deposit check and keep 900.00 for myself and to send a money order from Walmart or Post Office for $2550.00 and use the rest of the $50.00 send the money orders to the graphic designer by Fedex or USPS shipping next day service. The designer name is Jonny Sandoval, 7550 Tampa Ave Suite D, Reseda Ca 91335. Then send the tracking number by text. Supposedly the person sending the texts was Carol Adam, rep from Nivea Advert CCL. I tried to call the number the texts were sent from but it gave me a message stating it was not a working number. They were very pushy about me getting the check deposited. When I told them they were not listed in the BBB, the address the check came from, they replied a long text about the reasoning of me sending the check to the artist that I might not have a car to advertise on. I then sent them a text saying apparently this is a scam according to the ScamPulse.com and I would not be depositing the check. They texted me saying," You don't know what you are saying?" "You don't need to sound funny it's better you confirm to us that you are no longer interested. Then we can quit with you and offer someone else."

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received a priority mail envelope, when I opened it I was surprised to see a letter from Walmart. It states congratulations you have been pre- qualified to take part in a research program evaluation of Walmart’s in my area. The letter said there was a check enclosed for 1,390.00. I was shocked. No one is going to send a person that much money without signing for it. Red Flag already. Anyway there were instructions for me to carry out the evaluation. Spend 50.00 dollars and get 1000 dollars in gift cards. I was instructed to by 4 250 cards and scratch the backs off the gift card and take picture of each one. Wow amazing what people will do to get money. The cashier check was from PrimeWay Fcu.
