Delivery Service Reports & Reviews (5)

My boyfriend supposedly mailed a package to me from Korea. He used fastway express Filiberto to send the package. I received an email from the delivery service saying I owed $1,000 for custom charges. I emailed them back my credit card info. Then they sent me a text on WhatsApp and said they couldn’t accept the credit card info, that I had to wire the money. I couldn’t do that, then they suggested to use Zelle or Pay Pal. They were giving me 2 different women’s personal acct info. Things are really fishy. I called customs and they told me no way that it was a scam. I told them by text that I was not paying for the delivery. There was supposedly, jewelry, shoes and $20,000 in the package. When I told them I was paying for it and to send the package back, they wanted me to pay $1100 to send it back.

The call came in as a private number. Steve wanted to know family information so they could make a delivery. He gave a toll free number as and a release number for pick up service. The toll free number, that was given 877-282-8251. I know this is a scam, because I am in the delivery business with a house hold name. The company that I am with have been in business almost 100 years. They do not, I repeat they do not call you for information on you or family members.

So key point here ( red flags ) #1 private call, a well run company will have an established number. #2 no release number would be given on first contact. # 3 Company's like your business so they will tell or leave a notice of their intent. ( as they say in the military, have a purpose )

I hope this helps, have a great day.

I received a voicemail stating to call this number regarding a scheduled delivery. When I called the number they claimed to be a debt collection agency and had all of my personal information. I have no debt with a payday loan company.

- Waukesha, WI, USA

The caller asked to verify my address for a package delivery. I refused. She repeated my phone number to remove us from the call list and I goofed and said yes. Now I wonder what will happen.

- Columbia, MO, USA

Scammer called claiming to be from a delivery service. Person appeared to be faking automation voice. Said there was a package that needed to be delivered and they wanted to know when someone would be home to sign for the package. Hung up immediately--it was clear the scammer wanted to know when someone would/wouldn't be home for a break-in.
