I received a phone call from Atlas with information regarding my debt. The representative said they could cut my debt in half. they work with two other companies a billing companies a billing company and a Law firm company. after a year they claim creditor will only settle for something close to the original debt. they raise your original payments by almost double. they also use the law firm to intimidate you into signing a new contract. I was finally forced to just pay them off. I paid $7000.00 more than my debt.

I received a letter from Mr Green, the underwriting manager for the Economic Injury Relief Center. The letter was addressed to me at my home address. The letter stated that the underwriting department had just issued pre-approval to me for a single, reduced monthly payment plan. In the body of the letter was a jpeg of a check number 23000 for $85000 made out to me, which the letter claimed was a ready to use check. There was no bank name on the check, however, the routing number was 012040186. The account number was listed as 000x00190, which is obviously not a legitimate account number. The letter named the finance department, Mr Green and John Franklin as contacts, all with email addresses @economicinjuryrelief.com. There was a post it note. The note was addressed to me. It instructed me to call John for relief with the phone number 844-889-8912.

They left me a message regarding offering a debt relief of $42,000 based on a federal debt relief that they have been reaching out to me for and it being Friday. I have reported it as junk before but somehow they keep using a different extension and it comes from what appears to be a different state. Somehow they have my number, they keep giving that exact same amount and have my name and enough information to know enough about my finances whereby if I weren’t educated, they could easily come across to someone else as a legitimate business. It’s very frustrating and in this day and age it’s frightening.

The caller stated he was from Chase Bank and someone on the west coast was trying to get credit in my name. Since I lived on the east coast and the person did not know vital information, the bank stated it brought up a red flag. The caller had all my information, account number, social security number which I did not provide. Stated he would protect my account and report to the credit bureau agencies. He then asked me to hold on to talk to the security department with the complaint #EL2977838. When this person came on the line, he stated did I know about the federal law FCRA FDCTA. I did not have to pay back Chase or any of my credit card companies. I asked "why would the bank not want me to pay back their debt". I told Oliver I was going to call Chase Bank myself and hung up. When I called Chase, they had no record of calling me and my account was not hacked. She stated within the last few minutes they received information from Freedom Debt Relief to not collect any payments from me and had 4 other credit card companies listed. She called the phone number I had and was told it was not a good number. She gave me the number to the attorney for Freedom, David Parker, 215-610-5869 ext 21046. I called him and he apologized for what happened and wanted to find out the situation, I was the third complaint this week. I told him I did not want any of this and it was a scam. He said they were not, and I told him the person who called stated he was with Chase Bank, which was false. I told him I did not want any of my credit cards taken over by Freedom Debt Relief. He then went on about how I'm an elder person on social security, etc. and that I was being taken advantage of. I told him I will call all my creditors and let them know this was fraud and complain to BBB. If the government is letting these companies utilize telemarketers, I've listed my cellphone number with the do not call list however I still am getting spam calls. This company is using scare tactics, then unbeknown to the person, have them signed up with Freedom Debt Relief. Someone needs to stop them. I called the other creditors except one since they're paid off and put a notation not to accept anything from Freedom Debt Relief.

This company is claiming to help individuals repair their credit. This company is misleading customers by intentionally prolonging services to charge customers more money for a longer period of time. The companies owner, Samia, is selling fake hope to vulnerable customers who are desperate for credit relief. Samia uses social media to target clients, instagram, TikTok, Facebook. I should’ve caught the red flag when I noticed that the business name is Pursuit of Wealth, INC. and on social media goes by the name of Queen Consulting. Once, I noticed the potential scam. I cancelled her services out of fear and she is now threatening to place items on my credit report in retaliation. I do plan on pursuing further action.

My mom was targeted by Accelerated Debt Solutions to help her negotiate a credit card debt for a recently purchased timeshare. They told her that they had to pay her $20,000 upfront, and said that she should ignore any incoming calls or contact from American Express (the credit card she owes money to), as well as any court notices. After 90 days, they said the "debt negotiation team" would contact her. This was in a letter dated 4/17/24. She has only received automated calls from them periodically, stating that they are working on her case. In the meantime, American Express has just recently filed a court case against her.

Did you utilize the services they offer? Are they not a real debt consultant firm? I have worked with some legit attorneys and credit consolidation places in the past. So, they looked legit to me. However, I am just trying to figure out if they stand by their terms and conditions?

***** *** ***. These people are the worst...preying upon people trying to find a solution to get out of Debt. Instead, they mislead and gave one false

promises that would lead to getting your financial life back. The program was front loaded splitting your monies covering Lawyer fee, and administrative cost

leaving with nothing in your principle balance. Out $4,000.00 my account balance was whooping $75.00 after seeing my summary report, I requested cancellation of this service. It's a should be asked the Law for how that prey on the American public. These people are BAD NEWS

Transferred to a debt restructuring company after my husband was told fraudulent funds were taken and his SS number was stolen.

The debt agent said he could help by negotiating with 7 creditors if we paid up front. We then would pay balance after one year with no interest.

He sent us a document that said they were to take the money out of two credit cards and it is NON REFUNDABLE.

We researched company today and realized we got scammed and called to freeze our cards from which the money for their services would pay.

The agent said company is in TX but the document says Cheyenne WY and the phone number he gave was for Bayonne NJ???
