"I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE NOT BEEN ADVISED BY COMPANY, ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AND/OR AFFILIATES TO FOREGO A STUDENT LOAN PAYMENT IN EXCHANGE FOR THE GOOD FAITH PAYMENT AND FEDERAL STUDENT LOAN CONSOLIDATION PROGRAM. DURING THIS PROCESS, CLIENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING HIS OR HER PAYMENTS, AND FAILURE TO DO SO COULD DISQUALIFY THE CLIENT FROM OBTAINING THE SERVICE THAT WAS AGREED UPON." States that I need to pay my NELNET account as well as the company I am making the contract with in order to have the debt forgiveness. The debt will not be forgiven until 240 payments are made, and so therefore I will need to be in good standing until this process is finished, so I will be making DOUBLE payments until the entirety of the contract is finished...not what I was signing up for at all..
