Dealer Trade Direct Reports & Reviews (6)

I joined the zoom call with about 50 participants explaining the driver job. They required a $25.99 background check that I paid for. Then it went quiet. I did receive an email offering a refund for those who were unhappy about the wait time to get hired on (I cannot locate it unfortunately) but I did locate 3 other emails that I will include.

After paying 25.99 for a background check, I was told that I would receive information and be able to download their app within a week. After seeing nothing after about 10 days, I became suspicious. I started searching the Internet for information on Dealer Trade Direct and found nothing positive. To the contrary, it appears that this is a scam company. I fault Facebook for allowing this scam outfit to advertise on their platform which is where I found out about them. Since I paid them via a credit card I have submitted a dispute for the 25.99 charge. I am really pissed off that they have a copy of my drivers license and insurance card. If I become a victim of identity theft I will be even more pissed off.

October 08,2021, I signed up for a ZOOM conference to be hosted by Dealer Trade Direct. This was due to an ad I saw on Facebook where Dealer Trade Direct stated they were hiring drivers. I was provided a link for the ZOOM conference via email. October 08, 2021, I attended / watched the ZOOM presentation. The job sounded like a good fit. I was asked to submit a copy of my driver's license and auto insurance which I did on October 10, 2021. I was also requested to submit $25.99 to pay for a background check. All seemed reasonable based on the job of delivering cars. The $25.99 payment was immediately withdrawn from my bank account. I have yet to hear anything from them. They do not respond to my emails. My email service provider said Dealer Trade Direct was possible phishing scam. It appears that their website has disappeared from the Internet. Like everybody else they scammed, I want my money returned.

I was emailed by owner Chris A****. I participated in a Zoom webinar for orientation and instructions about the job, my duties, and rules and procedures. At the conclusion of the webinar downloaded their app, applied for a job with Dealer Trade Direct and was told to pay $25.99 for a background check and I would hear back from Dealer Trade Direct in a couple of days. I was sent emails stating I would qualify for employment. I excepted the job and received an email for direct deposit of my paycheck. When my bank told me to ask Dealer Trade Direct for their Direct Deposit form I called, left messages, emailed Dealer Trade Direct to request this form and no one has returned my messages. First contact with Chris was July 30, 2021. Zoom meeting was July 31. We put the $25.99 on our credit card for the background check on 7/31. We received an email on 8/10 giving us instructions on how to set up a direct deposit to get paid by the company. As of today, 8/24/21 we have not been able to make contact with anyone at Dealer Trade Direct.

No driving jobs posted for 30 days and no replies to my emails. They took my $25.99 and appear to be a scam.

I saw the Dealer Trade Direct Facebook post advertising they were looking for drivers. I signed up for a Zoom call and at the end of the call I received an email to apply as a driver. At the end of the application they ask for $25.99 for a background check. Once you hit submit, that is the last you hear from them. Nobody answers their phones. Nobody responds to voicemail. Nobody responds to email. But they sure didn’t waste any time taking my $25.99. This is an absolute scam and I now realize the Zoom call was prerecorded and not a live presentation.
