On 5/2 I was contacted by My *** *** informing me that I have been selected as the 2nd prize winner of 1.5 million dollars and a 2016 Mercedes Benz. When questioning him about it he told be my name had been selected from a lottery drawing the Walmart or Walgreens. I blew him off and he assured me it was true. I hung up on him. A few minutes later he called back, again telling me I was a Millionaire and think how this was going to change my life. They could have the money to me by that evening. These calls went on all afternoon . He then told me that if i wanted my winnings I would have to send $399. by Western Union to Loren Colby at a Bank in Fresno, Calif. By this time I was starting to believe it might be true so I agreed to wire the money. He called back to get the conformation # and told me I would have my money the next day. He called at 1am on Saturday and told me he just wanted to update me on the status of the money. I said I need to talk with someone other than him before I would give anymore info. Sat. morning at 7am I got a call from Steven Carter who then put me on the phone with Mr. Newman, his boss. He told me they need a letter of declaration before the money could be transferred into my name and that I needed to send an additional $699 for the paperwork but I would get that all back when they deliver the money. I refused and I said they were scamming me. The calls went on all weekend with Mr Carter. He told me he would swear on his wife and daughters life that this was not a scam. Each time he called he said "Have a blessed day" This has been going on for 2 wks. some days as many at 9 calls in 1 day. Today, 5/16 he called and said if i would just get the money sent I would have my 1.5 million today. he told me he was at the Attorney Generals office and everything was ready but the verification they needed from me. Steven Carter or who ever he is has a strong accent as did My Newman and 2 others I talked with. Neither sounded American. I tried to block his calls but he keeps using a different number. Overtime he asked for personal info, I just blew him off.
