Someone called my ex saying they were trying to have someone arrive at a location to drop off legal documents for me. Left a phone number and case number. I called back and the operator answered with "Davison and Associates" and I was transferred to a representative. Saying someone has been trying to deliver a summons for a court date and will put a lean on my house for a "VIP Loan Shop" loan. They had my SSN, email, address. They said the loan was deposited into an old bank of mine (which it never was) and gave me a bank account number (which is not my current one). They said the borrowed amount was $2958 but if I paid $2366 it wouldn't go to court. She said they will come to my place of employment to give me the summons. I said I will have to wait for the summons to get more information and the rep just said "bye" and hung up.
