I was falsely hired by people claiming to be from Alorica. I was made an offer, sent an offer letter and worked on Microsoft teams with an "HR Representative".I sent a message from a Facebook post saying Alorica was looking for data entry positions. I received the following note: Here is your interview code: (246/7S-FS) Here is the HR CONTACT: David Bauer Email: [email protected] Kindly search the above email on your Teams App and send your interview code along with my name as your recruiter to proceed further with your interview session I "interviewed" with David Bauer and he made me an offer. I was then sent an offer letter which I signed and returned from [email protected]. After returning the offer letter, David Bauer spoke with me on Microsoft teams regarding purchasing a computer and SW, scheduling, etc. During the conversation he requested the login and password to my personal bank account so they could track receipt of the money they were sending. This flagged me that something was wrong so I called the Alorica phone number and the gentleman that answered explained that if this was real the emails would be from alorica.com - not gmail. I should have seen this earlier.I hope no one is pulled into this scam and hands over this information. They make it sound really official.
