Scam - Misleading - Dropshipping

A very honest review. I was looking to buy a value for money leather jacket to give as gift. Google search leads to david outwear. Read the thin lines. It's not real leather. However to enjoy free shipping I had to buy more stuff. I decided to go with buying a leather shoes. When it got delivered and I saw It's unbranded and u can see a generic brand "fashion" on it. Nothing visible before I bought it online. It's pure scam. A trap. I asked for a refund and they asked me to pay for the return. Bad return policy. Ask for a partial refund and explain them that I was expecting it to be branded as "david outwear or at least a decent brand" they say nothing can be done. Do not buy 😒 worst customer experience I ever had.

Terrible quality, overpriced, and non-existent customer service

Do NOT order from this DavidOutwear merchant, as they are a Chinese dropshipper misleading customers that they're based in the UK, selling poor quality clothing (you can find the same unbranded clothing on Alibaba for a fraction of the cost).

Furthermore, their "customer service" is non-existent.

Good luck in receiving a refund - they won't even respond to your emails.

I had ordered a jacket and a coat - absolutely overpriced for terrible quality, and the epitome of false advertising. I would not even pay $20 USD per item - no exaggeration.

The zipper on the coat is made of cheap plastic, it was already broken when I received it, and therefore I cannot even use the coat.

DavidOutwear utilizes Shopify as their ecommerce service provider (Shopify is known for having nearly a million dropshipping websites using their platform) and so you can file a formal complaint with them if DavidOutwear does not respond to your emails, as I had experienced.

Shopify may likely do nothing, but if numerous customers file similar negative feedback, they could investigate.

Save your money and don't bother with DavidOutwear.

Garbage overpriced product

Unfortunately I had bought a jacket from them before reading reviews. A jacket has two options: go to garbage bin or to clothing donation bin. It was donated. Pros: none. Cons: overpriced Chinese product, terrible sizing, cheap quality. Absolutely not that was expected. What you see on their site and what you will get are two different things. Stay away from them.

All positive reviews are untrue. Terrible quality product. Purchase payment date: April 25. Number of times of use: 5 times. The team does not respond to the request to return the product. Product of inadequate quality! Avoid them!

SCAMMERS!! Do not purchase from them

I purchased the Boulevard leather jacket from David Outwear. When it arrived, it looked nothing like the picture. It was crumpled up, had tons of wrinkles, even after smoothing it out the leather was very wrinkly, thin and cheap looking. The zippers we stiff. Overall very poor quality for the price. When I tried to return the product, the customer service staff was rude, and they didn't reimburse me any of the return shipping.

NO REFUND ON DAY LAST DAY OF RETURN PERIOD

I ordered a jacket from them on 2/20/23 and received it on 2/27/23. It did not fit. I saw they had a 30 day return policy and expected that it would be like every other company I have ever purchased from and start on the date of receipt. I called them on 3/22/23 to return the item. I was denied the ability to return the jacket because “the return period expired that day.” They would not work with me at all. I will never purchase from this company and suggest that you don’t either.

Love my new jacket!!!

At first, I ordered their Salvador jacket, it arrives in 5 days as promised, however it was one size bigger, the exchange process was super easy and convenient! Finally received my new jacket and it fits perfectly ☺️

Couldn't be happier and I will definitely recommend David Outwear products to Freund's and family!

I purchased a jacket and found it was not good and I returned the jacket at their address at my own cost ( $67 cad) , after returning they are not responding to my emails and not refunding the money . It’s a scam please don’t buy from here

Total Scammers! Buyer Beware! I spent $90 on the fur lined parka and it came in a total chinese knockoff. The fur looked like roadkill. I thought there'd been a mistake in quality control and they'd accidentally attached a piece of remnant material (it had literal bald spots all over and was super matted) so I kindly emailed them asking the best way to correct the mistake. I included a picture too! They gave me the run around for 2 months then told me that I had received the correct item and they wouldn't do anything about it. I couldn't believe it! Total frauds with a bunch of fake reviews on their website!

Do not waste your money

I ordered a coat November 17, 2022 & they said shipping is 6-8 business days. Now it’s December 9, 2022 & when I track it its been in Bloomingdale IL since November 28, 2022. No update no movement. I requested a refund and they refused.So I had to purchase another coat from another company that wasn’t a scam. I lost out on $80 ordering from this company. I do not recommend this place to anyone!

Absolutely atrocious quality

I got a winter coat from them, looks nothing like it did in the picture, it's atrocious quality

It's definitely not worth the $90 "half off" i spent on it, it's at best a $30 coat from walmart

I don't so much feel "scammed" as a lot of people do, but I'm sure if i got the leather jacket like I was thinking, i would feel more scammed than i do over an, at bare minimum, amicably warm jacket. it IS warm, but it's ugly and made of cheap parka material, and worth no where near $90

No, I am not spending any time what so ever verifying apparel dimensions. That was your job prior to sending out a product. You want to compare it? Go ahead. You sell it. All products purchased this year from other vendors actually fit. Yours does not. Why all the hoops. Are you trying to run out the clock? I am not playing your game. Take your product back and give me my money back. This is my third demand. I will be posting this email to reviews on Google and everywhere else I can to reduce your victimization of the public. You sent what I asked for. A jacket with a tag stating it’s a 2X. However, the jackets tag is not representative of the actual size. That means…It don’t fit. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK AND KEEP YOUR GARBAGE. Stop trying to avoid giving back a lousy $100.00

PU Leather made in China

This "company" it looks good but not worth the actual price. The products will always be " On sale % " while showing you a price tag of up to $200 for a PU leather made in China that is insane.
Also this is not an original brand , you can find one more(and possibly more ) brands using the SAME jackets and items with their logo slapped on the item . An example is (Alex wears ) Don't get me wrong the jackets look good but they are only $40-$50 dollars good not $100+ good.
