On the day I flew, the agent contacted me to inform me of a deal to pay 2 months of rent and get 1 free. I decided to pay $900 for a second rent. This transfer was made using Bank of America Zelle. The payment of $1800 was made through an electronic transfer to a personal account at Wells Fargo. Once I arrived in Charleston, on my move-in date, the agent contacted me to inform me that my move-in was postponed to the following morning due to a delay with the furniture move. The following morning, I could not get a hold of the agent for about 4hours. Then, he contacted me saying that the move-in could happen in the evening. At 8:30 PM, I took an Uber from my hotel to the apartment at 3220 Hatchet Bay Drive and the agent told me to meet them at the lobby. Once I got there, the agent's phone number was no longer in service. I waited in the lobby for 40min then left the apartment complex.
This person told me their name was John C. Matthews and the landlord's name was Ian Esposo. The first transfer was made to the account of Ian. The second transfer was made to the account of someone called Richard Legion.
