This company went by globalfxp.pro then globalfxp.org and now is quadratrade.pro. I saw an ad for AI trading in January. 250 USD to start. They did the know your client stuff and referred me to a financial analyst named Patrick Taylor. I found out that there was no AI trading but he was an experienced trader that would make trades for me. He promised me monthly income for a 10% commission on the profits.. He helped me get on a web trading platform. He told me that I could make more money trading forex pairs than stocks. He taught me all about it. It was fun. You win some and lose some trades but the winners outnumbered the losers and the account kept growing. He would call every day, specially when there was a great trade position. I asked not to be called as often but he called every day. I went on vacation and came back to find out there had been a margin call because of his trades and the "company" had credited my account 30000USD to cover the margin. Now I had to pay it back. Being an honest sucker, I did, thinking this company operated like other financial institutions. The account kept going up. It grew to 480000USD. I said I can't handle the stress. He jumped on this and closed the account. I thought fine with me, I'll get back my investment and then some. Then I was told that I had to pay 30000USD as a fee to get my money released to a Bitcoin wallet I have. I said no way. THis went on for months. I was getting phone calls that went between begging me to pay to questioning my manhood. My wife kept saying this was a scam but I was hoping to get my money back when I was down 70000CDN. Patrick even volunteered to pay half the fee in order to get his commission. He then told me that the company found out and fined him 50,000 making me feel responsible. I couldn't live with the thought of losing my 70000 so I finally caved in and sent the 30000USD. They took my crypto wallet info and said the money would be there in an hour. Guess what? No money. They claim they sent it and it's not their problem if I didn't get it even though the 30000USD fee was supposed to cover any transfer problems. I wonder if my account was actually making any trades or was this all just some virtual simulation to get my money. I thought I had checked them out. I found they are unregulated in Canada but thought, oh well, it's an international company. That's why they use bitcoin. Any negative reviews seemed to be from other scammers who say they will try and get your money back. I should have listened to my wife. Patrick said we were friends, that he would help me. He even swore on his children's lives that I would get my money. He offered my wife and I a getaway part way through the scam to keep me on the hook. If I had been funding the account with a credit card, I may have had a chance of reversing some charges but the bitcoin just disappears into the internet. The police basically said “buyer beware”, so BEWARE.
