I had 4 calls yesterday from a company claiming to reduce my interest rates on my credit cards. They did end up getting my Social Security number. And I cancelled my credit cards and called BBB.

They left a voicemail claiming that the Better Business Bureau was monitoring the call and they were going to take $299.99 out of a credit card (that I don't have) if I don't call to cancel.

On Monday at 5:30pm we recieved a phone call with the caller id saying Zittel,Agatha. The caller said her name was Christina and she found some discrepansies in my current credit account.

I received a phone call telling me that if I paid $3.00 they would send me over $250.00 in coupons to use, they also wanted my banking information.

I got an alert supposedly from Capital One. They said to call them back or press 9 to get 0% on my credit card. I contacted my credit card and they said that I could email their abuse line and report it. My account is fine. I'm getting at least one robo call a day.

Scammer asked a question, I responded yeah, line went to hold. It reminded me of the Robo call situation where they were looking for a yes answer to use fraudulent charges

I have asked them many of time not to call me. They call me off different numbers about the same thing. Today I decided to answer the call and hit 9 to speak with someone and I had told the guy " I don't have a credit card nor would I like one please stop calling me" his response was " I don't care if you want the calls or not. You can go kill yourself" and then hung up on me!

Robo call offering to lower interest rate on credit card. SCAM. Area code is same as my area code.

Consumer said he was being charged $19.99 each month on his credit card since April and just noticed it. When he contacted them they could not tell him what the charges were for. The name that showed up on his bank statement was MCD * Byedge. Capital One did remove the charges for the consumer.

This number calls claiming to be from "your" credit card company with an offer to reduce your interest rates on ALL of your cards to 0%. Just press 0 so you can hand them all of your personal information. I pressed 0 and was greeted by someone asking which credit card I would like help with. When I asked him to remove me from his call list he hung up on me. Such an annoying thing to deal with and hopefully people aren't falling for it!

I have gotten numerous phone calls stating I qualify for 0% interest on a credit card. The recording says you can opt out by pressing 3 with it wont let you. If you press 1 to talk to someone the person is extremely persistent and wont take no for an answer and will continue to call back even when you ask him not to. Also when you call the number back its personal message stating you've reached Amelio?

The people keep calling me, and are somehow calling people in my family. I know it's a scam because I have no debt in order for these people to be saying they're going to serve me papers or what not to my home or place of employment. They even called my sister in law. I haven't had any new account of any kind in years. I have never used my sister in law as a reference or contact even when I did get a credit card or loan. It's cruel what they're doing. They're trying to get my information and they're trying to get other people to give them my information. I'll post the voicemail below, I have been called twice, I blocked the first number, but they called back the next day from a slightly different number. I don't want to have to deal with this everyday. And, I seriously don't want them calling someone else in my family with my last name, and those relatives being gullible enough to give out my address, work, and personal information. Please investigate this!

Again that is 844-394-2807 or press one to be connected immediately. This will service official and final notification by phone.

As I will answer the questions below, they will mostly be answered as a no, only because I haven't picked up the phone to talk to the scammer. The only thing I see is the voice messages left behind by this so called company. I'm quite certain of I would pick up the phone and engage in any conversation they would most definitely try to get some sort of monetary gain. It's most definitely a scam, I have looked the number up online and numerous people have reported on the phone number. I don't take lightly to someone threatening me about going to my place of work or trying to get my address/personal information. I had lived at the same address for years, so they are absolutely phishing for information on me that they didn't have in hope's to be able to scare me. They are relentless and call numerous times a day, and I'm getting extremely tired of it. I am at the point where I actually do want to answer the phone and tell them off, but I know with these types of people, it won't get me anywhere. I'm mainly reporting because I know there are very gullible people out there that have no idea that these types of scams have been going on for years and they have no idea that these people only want to steal their money. I have had very nice and honest friends taken advantage of by these people for the amount of $5000.00, they believed them because they were honest and wanted to pay any debt they had, they just thought it was something that they didn't know about or something that slipped under the radar while my friend's husband was overseas. So, if you could please get these people caught, there's absolutely no reason why people have to be worried with scammers and aggravating phone calls, when there's already enough things to worry about in this world and day to day life. Thank you for your time!

Contacted by phone, solicit to reduce interest rates on Credit cards. After several different transfers to new telesolicitors who kept coercing me

to give them more information, I eventually gave them my credit card numbers and my Social Security Number. They now have everything they need for identify theft or anything else. I have cancelled all my credit cards and issued new ones. An still worried. The phone numbers given were 888-236-7391 or 363-967-1090. Names of people I spoke to are Rebecca Colon, Jessica Williams, Trina Oneil.

Please tell me this is not a total scam.

I answered the call because it was a local number. A man answered and it was a credit card company. I told him to take my name off their list and hung up.

I keep getting phone calls that I owe them money for credit cards but he didn't want to tell me the kind of card it was plus I asked him who he was looking for he said YOU I asked him my name an he said WHY an hung up they call me so many times a day

2 different phone numbers called in 3 days time stating that it was my card company and that I should press 1 to speak to a representative. The first card I just hung up. 2 days later I pressed 1 to tell them to stop calling me. The phone immediately hung up. I promptly called the number back, it was a sweet little female voice stating that she had not called me that she had not used the phone all day.

It's an automated call saying you can get a better interest rate on your credit card. I knew it was a scam bc I don't have any credit cards. When I confronted the live agent, he had a foreign accent. He said oh my god and hung up on me.

I'm 77 years old. I just got a call from a man with an Indian accent telling me he could lower my credit card interest rate. He asked me for my credit card number. I asked why he needed it, and he said he could get me a lower interest rate. He said "You don't understand, I can give you a lower interest rate".

The scammer called my cell phone several times in reference to my credit card which I do not have (# calling from is 843-506-9407). On Wednesday November 22, 2017 at approximately 10:30 am, the scammer called me once again. I finally selected #9 to speak to a representative to let them know I think this is a scam and not to call me again or I will report them. The person then responded by cursing me out saying "This is NOT a credit card company so take this *** and *** it ** ***---- ***, then he disconnected the call. I then had another number start calling me which I never answered. That number is 682-237-4229. When calling that number back, it goes to a automated message playing music then disconnects. The original number (843-506-9407) is no longer in service. I really hope you can track both numbers to see who this is so they do not prey on the elderly which has been going on quit a bit.
