I was contacted by email from Megan Hall, Talent Acquisition Specialist, with Credera Inc by email. They received an application for Order Processing & Data Entry Coordinator position. They offered to move me forward in the interview process by booking a 30 minute interview with Ava Wilson, using Microsoft Teams. I communicated with them only on Microsoft Teams. They then offered me the position with an employment agreement. They had me proceed with the onboarding process through the Credera Secure Employment Enrollment Portal by uploading a signed copy of employment agreement, completed FW4 form, Copy of my State ID, and current mailing address. My social security number was listed on the W4 form. They sent me a check for $3850.12 to deposit into my bank account for office and tech supplies. At this point, I stopped communicating with them and reported it as a scam.
