A man called and asked for the parent of my daughter. I said, "This is she," and he went on to tell me that my daughter had requested study materials for her upcoming PSAT and that he needed my permission to send them. I said OK, and he explained that the materials would be sent USPS free of charge, but that if we wanted to keep them over 30 days we would pay 249.00. He said the materials would come on a flash drive and could be returned by a postage paid envelope. He asked me to confirm my address (which he knew) and then said I needed to provide an email address to "get her scores faster" and a credit card on file in case I didn't return the materials. When he said he needed a credit card, I immediately declined and hung up.
