I am the victim's sister. I got took also but the bank refunded me the money. My sister is 73 and loves to read. She takes care of her money, if she needs help she asks. This time she didn't right away.

Was reading on Facebook. I liked the story I was reading, and they said you could finish it for .99 or 1.99. Next thing I know she is broke. I started looking into it and she got hit bad. Went to the bank and was told that they can't help because she must have shared her information with them. Might be true, I don't know but I do know that she would never spend $10,480 on a reading app
