The scammer emailed me about a job. They asked to do an interview via Skype but it would be written not done via video. The following day they informed me that I got the job and I need to provide them with my address so they can send a sign on bonus check and check for my in home office equipments. I refused to provide the info.

The following is a copy and pasted email message the scammer sent to me. They claimed they found me on Indeed.

FIRST EMAIL:

Hello ******,

My name is Mendy LeBlanc, and I am the Talent Acquisitions Manager at Coastal Custom Homes.

Having come across your profile on indeed.com, I am impressed by your extensive experience as an Illustrator. We are currently expanding our team and are in search of an innovative and dedicated professional to join us remotely on either a part-time or full-time basis.

Upon reviewing your resume, it is evident that your skills align with the kind of resourceful candidate we are seeking. I believe that your expertise in Illustration would greatly contribute to the success of our ongoing projects. I am eager to share more details about the position and learn more about your background and aspirations.

I am available for a discussion anytime between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Our standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.

The position offers a competitive pay range of $35.00 - $60.00 per hour.
