I was browsing online wedding bridal Facebook groups for a day of wedding coordinator. I reached out to McKenna for an inquiry and told her I would let her know if I wanted to move forward. She then messaged me frequently about a deal/promotion she was having for wedding coordinator packages. I accepted the offer and signed her contract on Monday, August 5th, 2024 via email. I paid in full per her request via Square that same day. A few weeks later, several Facebook posts started to appear about victims of McKenna's "business". Many other people have come forward with different fraud situations such as her not showing up to do her services, etc. This alarmed me, and I requested a refund right away on 9/7/2024. She responded and agreed to pay me back via an email response. I waited the typical business days per square's refund policy and noticed my "pending" transaction went away through my Chase credit card account. I was informed the transaction did not go through on 9/16/2024. She has not responded to my email. Furthermore, there is a growing facebook group chat made with all the current and past victims of McKenna. Evidence continues to be collected and including everyone, she owe's over 6,600. I am highly concerned if her business is even reigstered to begin with. We have several documentation I am ready to share.
