Every single workday my work phone rings from a different phone number in a different state. The phone company auto-blocks the call after one ring so I'm not fast enough to answer the phone to tell them this is a business and to stop calling. I have blocked 41 phone numbers I believe are associated with this company, to no avail. Every day they leave a voicemail saying they are with Clearway Financial following up on a preapproval for a personal loan of $35,000. The dollar amount has varied over time ranging from $30,000 to $40,000. As a reminder, this is a business phone number and I never inputted it on any type of loan documents. The person listed on the voicemail also changes. Most often it is "Stephanie," but I do receive other names, and some have been male. I'm not confident as I have deleted the voicemails every day, but I believe these phone calls started in November of 2025, and it is now February of 2026.
