I just got a check from Cheminte Services Inc

I just got a check but the issuer was POLANSKY & CICHON, CHTD. I looked them up and it is a Law Firm out of Chicago, IL. What I think happened here was they got a hold of a legit account and sent me this check to cash. I knew it was a bogus. The check might go through cause I bet the account is legit. But when the real owners of the check realize they are missing $1,350.72 they are going to want to know where it went. They want me to go and buy these AMEX cards and send them photos of the cards. Yeah OK, These people must think we are stupid to send them anything back. If I cash this check and screw up my account I might as well keep all the money right? But no I am not going to cash it because I know it's a scam. I just wanted to give people a heads up.

with a cashiers check BankOZK through the USPS mail.
This check was turned I'm to the police station for further investigation. I hope they catch these scams.

I received a letter to do a Nike Service evaluation with a check for $2450.52. I am to buy 4 $500 gift cards. I am to do it within 12 hours, take a $450.00 cut for myself and send the gift card information to them via noble phone. This is a scam! I did not fall it, but it does look legit and people will fall for it. These scammers are jerks! Don’t fall for it. If it is Chiship and it originated from you, I am now going to the police station and making a report! You mailed this crap to the wrong person!

Take it to the post office and let the postal inspectors investigate, the police do local, the post office is a federal agency and can investigate anywhere in the country.
