Champlands Steel Co Ltd are cheaters
We signed a contract with Champlands Steel Co Ltd . The contract looked very convincing . He sent a letter from their bank . He also sent 30 photos of his works . He also sent us a copy of Contract with Posco of South Korea .
Terms of payment were 5% advance payment and balance by letter of credit . As per his proforma invoice we remitted USD 23,125 . We also have a letter of credit for 95% of contract value .
He sent us bogus invoice and packing list . He was supposed to sent us copy of bills of lading , Certificate of origin , Mill test Certificate and photos of loading in containers .
He kept giving excuses for not sending any documents and photos .
He just disappeared in thin air .
We engaged a lawyer in HongKong who issued a notice at registered office and company’s business address . Finally , our lawyer adviced that unless we can trace him and serve a Court notice , there is no point wasting more money on legal costs .
My advice to anyone who is thinking of doing business with Champlands Steel Co Ltd or Jonny to be very careful . They are 100% cheaters .

Champland Steel Co Limited scams people and cooks stories
Champland steel and their Sales Manager Jonny are expert scammers and they tell you that they have processed your order and it is being shipped but when you go to get your shipment you will find out that he has sent something completely different altogether
So if you order steel sheets form them they will send you broken tiles or something else
We have been trying to contact the company but their manager Jonny keeps saying that the shipments must have been switched during delivery even though the serial number of the containers delivered matches the serial number shared by him
We have not heard anything back from Jonny for more than a months now and he has not even bothered to return our money
