Received in the mail a check for the amount $0.47 from Capital One to deposit in my bank account. Since I own two credit cards from this company, I called the number on the back of my card to find out more about the check. Capital One customer representative was very professional and confirmed they never sent me any check. It was a scam. It was suggested to contact Better Business Bureau immediately and report. If the check had been deposit scammers would access my checking and savings account immediately. Be aware of this type of scam. Make sure to contact the company you do business first and never the number provided in the fake document.
