I got a call on my cell phone 1/31/17 at 4:31pm asking "Can you hear me". I said yes not even thinking about it. It then continued to say ok great and that I had been entered to win a vacation. I said NO NO NO NO NO and hung up. It sounded like a person but I believe it was a robot now that I think about it.

Just before this call a small, private plane went over house and you could hear it still as my cell phone rang. It was an out of area # but my husband was out of town so I answered it. I had read about this scam but it took me a minute to realize this was it! The man just kept saying "hello...can you hear me?" When I hung up the small, private plane flew back over our house and out of hearing range. Looked up the number and it says its a private verizon # from Flordia. But now my phone is making this weird vibrating sound. I turned it off and back on but it is still doing it. WEIRD!!

They'be called several times saying hello and then asking if I can hear them and that they had trouble with their headset. (It is clearly a recorded call). They go on to say that I recently stayed at one of their resorts (which I haven't) and I just hang up before it goes any further.

Caller acted like she could not hear me, said she was having trouble with her headset, asked If i could hear her and I replied Yes. Went on to say I had won a trip to the Bahamas and wanted to transfer me for confirmation. I told her I was not interested and then hung up the phone.
