Buy Beyblades Reports & Reviews (9)

I purchased a few of their bey blades for my son for Christmas. There was a $10 charge that went to our Visa card for over a year as my spouse thought it was some kind of education subscription app. Long story short, the company claims this paid for their coupons and "VIP experience" however no where in the actual order I made is there any kind of clear language that my small purchase results in any kind of long term agreement. It's a total sham and they are run without any kind of moral compass. Never purchase anything from this company. Screenshot attached shows "free" 1 year guarantee, but that's not right - you're signing up for a monthly fee without any recourse. Stay far far away!

Beyblade toys are quite famous since the time of their launch and if you don’t know about their launch time, don’t worry as the answer lies in this post. If you have been born in the 90s, then there is no need to introduce you to Beyblade toys which have been launched at that time and became a hit after the success of the Manga comic series.

I have been charged the same monthly fee of $9.99 per month since May when I made a purchase for my son. I had no idea that I would be charged monthly or I would've never purchased anything from them. And the icing on the cake is that the dumb thing broke already. I haven't attempted to contact them since I barely discovered these charges and plus it's a weekend. But Monday morning I'm going to my bank to file papers for unauthorized charges then I'll file with the BBB and anyone else that I need to report it file with. I wish all of you luck and hope you get your money back.

The company Buy Beyblades does not state up front that with each purchase on their site they enroll you automatically in a warranty program using the method of payment you purchase the merchandise with. I purchased a very inexpensive toy for my son. The total purchase price was under $10. I checked out, without knowing the warranty would begin being withdrawn from my account every month in the amount of $9.99. Because I no longer use the card, I did not notice fees of up to $100 taken out of my account over the course of several months. When I called to resolve the issue, they only have a message option to leave to cancel the warranty, because they've received so many complaints, but they do no have an option to refund. Upon extensive review and research, I found they have a clause in their user agreement, hidden, about the warranty and the fees. I would not use this company in the future and am not sure how legal this practice is. It is certainly unethical.

Same thing happened to me. I ended up paying $60+ for a $12.95 purchase that turned out to be a POS launcher anyway. They prey on this "Free" bull, and take you for $9.99/mo until you notice. There is zero value to the service they claim to offer, and this is as deceptive as it gets.

In April, 2020, I placed an online order for a toy with buybeyblades.com. The order summary I received indicated a "1 Year Guarantee plus Complimentary LL2 Launcher" as "Free" in the charges column. Since the order date, I have been charged 4 monthly fees of $9.99 for the "free" 1 year guarantee "subscription". I did not knowingly agree to this fee. I attempted to call the company, however the number listed on the website is out of service. I emailed the company and after several conversations, was told my account would be refunded in full for the erroneous charges and the subscription would be cancelled. This has yet to happen (I was only refunded one of the $9.99 charges), I continue to be charged a monthly fee, and the person I was in contact with (Marianne) will no longer return my emails. AVOID THIS SCAM OF A BUSINESS.

Are they fake?

What about the beyblades?

The same thing happened to me and I can tell countless others - anyone they ever sold a product to likely. When I was finally on to them I wrote to cancel and they charged my card 4 days earlier than every other month, on the day of cancelling it. Greedy and an important piece of evidence that the credit card company noticed upon opening investigation.
