Thank you for taking my report. BudgetAir.com has purposefully created
their system so it does not put a space between your first and middle
name when purchasing an "E-Ticket". Upon successful purchase, I was
presented with an alert saying that the combined first/middle name is
not an issue, but if you want to get the space inserted you can
purchase the service from BudgetAir.com.
BudgetAir.com customer service repeats that no space between the
first/middle name is not an issue, but goes on to claim that their
system does not support special characters such as spaces. However,
there is a space between my first/middle name and my last name;
therefore we are dealing with some sort of deception.
When purchasing my reservation, I entered my full name, but there was
only two fields. One for the first and middle name, and one for the
last name. If their system used three fields instead of two, this
would be a non-issue. Clearly they are doing it on purpose to trick
nervous travelers into purchasing the additional service to get the
space inserted.
Please. If there is anything you can do to stop this deceptive
practice, I would appreciate it.
