A gentleman by the name of Michael Manner called me representing Brooklyn Private Capital stating that he was working on our business line of credit and told me that we were approved and that our closing cost was $32,500 and we had to pay 10 installments. Once the 10 installments were paid in full they will give us our line of credit and we’d be able to sign in to get our money. After all payments were made, no line of credit was issued and he continued to say he’s working on it, it’s done, he’s waiting on investors, he’s gonna pay the money. Once I let him know that I knew it was a scam and that I was getting the FBI involved, he said OK OK if I don’t get your line of credit I’mma give your money back. He has since disappeared.
