In Facebook I was served an ad by a company calling themselves Black Needs. They were marketing a stylish baseball-style cap featuring the iconic image of Ruby Bridges, the black girl whose desegregation of a southern school was immortalized by Norman Rockwell. It is one of these elaborate long scams, where they give you a fraudulent shipping number, which you attempt to check on a fraudulent shipping site, and its all designed to wear you out or string you along until you don't bother anymore and forget about having been cheated. Or you assume it was honestly lost in the mail. Which it wasn't, because, why would you need to give your customer a fictitious tracking number and a link to a fictitious tracking web site?
