Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
I received them and they were counterfeit. The material, size, quality, box, fit were all fake. I compared them to actual Birkenstocks I bought at Nordstrom and there was a major difference in every way.
When I tried to return them, I called Birkenstocks and it appeared I bought them from an illegitimate source based on the order number I received in an email and based on the email used in the “Contact Us” as well as in the “Sender” line of all the electronic communications I received.
When I tried to return them, it appeared that I was corresponding with AI as I kept receiving the same messages regarding my desire to return the shoes. They refused to refund me my money and they would only do it base on the condition that I send them International to Canada. The shipping address I received them was from New Jersey.
After mailing it to the address required, it was rejected at delivery multiple times. After receiving the shoes back, I contested the charges with my credit card company.
I wanted to report this company for selling me fake Birkenstocks. I hope no one else falls victim.
