A company called AlphaBrook targets government agencies for information on government contracts to sell. They pretend they’re from fake companies called GovExcel and Bidadvise, which are not real companies. Employees are instructed to lie about where they are calling from and the purpose of their call. Employees then take information gained during the call and sell it to paying customers who are unaware of the scam.
