I was selling an old laptop on Facebook marketplace and it was a profile of someone wanting to buy the laptop but seemed like an odd profile. My dumb butt fell for it and sent the supposed to be woman the laptop and in exchange send me money through western union. I realize after reading some scams they use “dear” a lot and to not be afraid and to trust each other. Yeah I was in a rush to sell to even think twice and this is what I got in return. Be aware and double check and be patient. Also used some sort of western union look alike to show the person sent me money but wouldn’t give me the last 3 of the tracking # yet.
