I ordered a table from what looked like Bed Bath & Beyond. It was a flash sale, and the price was ridiculously low. I should’ve been suspicious just at that alone. But I knew I’d been had when the return address for my confirmation came from bad bath and beyond. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

I received an email saying my purchase from Bed Bath and Beyond was:
"Processing at warehouse -
Good news! Our warehouse has received your order and is preparing it for shipment.
Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing shipping delays of 3 days or more in some warehouse locations. Additionally, some delivery carriers are experiencing delays.
Please be assured that most orders are arriving within the estimated delivery time. As we work to ship your order, we will also notify you as soon as possible with an updated delivery estimate and in-transit details.
Thank you for your understanding!"
I never ordered anything from Bed Bath & Beyond.
There's a link that says "View or Manage Order" which when hovered shows this:

I believe this is a phishing email.

Placed order Aug. 23'. Site stated it was a closeout sale. Received tracking information in Sept. 23' items were supposed to be delivered on September 20th

Never received items. I've been sending emails twice a month ever since and I receive the same reply over and over again.

I purchased what I thought was an authentic 40oz Pink Stanley cup for $63 on the bed bath & beyond website as it was portrayed to be. Once I received it and compared to my other actual Stanley cups, I sadly quickly noticed it was very fake.

Facebook add for close out on Willow Tree figurines. Placed two orders. Ordered as gifts and to replace some broken pieces. After my order did not arrive in a timely fashion, I contacted the support email. They responded that things may have been taking longer in customs. It has now been almost two months and I’ve never received my orders. They sent me a fake tracking number and everything.

I kept getting emails from them with sales and discounts. I finally purchased 2 sheet sets. I inputted the wrong postal code by mistake so I tried to call them. The wait time on the phone is 240 minutes. There is no one on the other side. I've emailed, texted, called. No response except an AI and they keep asking me the same information over and over again. The AI says they have no record of my last name or email address or order #.

When I go on Facebook they have a page and lots of other people have been scammed too. They are posting their stories there.

Using social media the company indicates that they have an overstock of WillowTree nativity sets. They take payment for the sets and send a receipt via email for the payment. The email does not include an order number or an order confirmation. Just a receipt for the money they took.

I was looking for a coffee table and found the one that I like from a site that claimed to be Bed Bath and Beyond. I knew that Bed Bath and Beyond declared Bankruptcy earlier this year and did a google search about the company. Google reviewed that Bed Bath and Beyond had rebranded itself as an online store. As I really like the design of the coffee table, I placed an order on October 29. I got an emailed confirmation that the estimated delivery date is Nov. 7. Two days later, I received an email from the "SO-CALLED" Bed Bath and Beyond that my order was "OUT FOR DELIVERY". A couple of days later when I track the progress, it said the packaged was "DELAYED" and "Being held at a Fedex facility in Baffalo". By then I realized that there is no hope that my order will be delivered. Today on Nov. 8, out of curiosity I clicked on the "track package" button on the "FEDEX" site and it said my package was 'DELIVERED" to Cheektowaga, New York !!!

I would like to share this with others that the scammer tried so hard to show it was a legitimate business transaction. I would like to alert the general public of these unlawful scammers.

I thought I was ordering from Bed Bath & Beyond- a store going out of business. Order placed 7/29/23. It never arrived, I contacted customer service many times and was told it was delivered. Then told shipment was lost. They do not want to refund the full order amount.

Email citing Bed, Bath Clearance and showing a picture of Bed, Bath and Beyond Store Front. I made an initial order - a lamp, car vacuum, utility cart and a few other things I've forgotten - came to $52+. They sent a tracking #. I subsequently made 3 other orders of household items including a chair, some dishes, another cart, vacuum cleaner, toilet paper, plastic bags, etc. Received tracking #'s for each order. Notes on the tracking page to please be patient. finally saying packages were delivered - no items ever received. I did receive a ring in the mail which I did not order from the Global Gemological Academy saying I had purchased it and should register it. I did not. I have disputed the charges to my credit card and don't know what will result from that. I don't know if they are related but I was suspicious.

I clicked on a link on facebook for Bed, Bath and Beyond going out of business sale. I ordered a Bogg Bagg and some accessories. The confirmation email I received was from Clearance Sale Store. I emailed the customer support ***** ********************* and received a reply two times. I was given a tracking link. After 60 days the tracking link shows delivered. I did not receive the product. I now do not get a response when asking for a refund and the website is no longer active.

Website came across as bed bath beyond and had history of bed bath beyond. Confirmation emails came through as bedbath market. Says items were delivered and were not.Other emails I found for returns include: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], customer@bedbath- market.com

They were offering products at a reduced rate using an ad on fb. They used the same font and pictures of items as the real store. Once i received the confirmation email the font and logo had changed.

I saw an advertisement online for a bed bath and beyond going out of business liquidation sale. I went on to purchase a king sized bedroom set, a sofa set and a patio set. After the purchase I called the number which was invalid to check on the status of my order. I also email to check on status of the order and my email returned because it was an invalid email address.

Type of a scam Online Purchase

A pop up sale came up on my phone...looked like a Bed Bath & Beyond website...Going out of business sale..which i had heard that BB&Beyond was truly closing their stores and discounting all their inventory..looked legit. I purchased an item and shipping fee. The website gave me an order number and said id receive my order wasnt until I got the fraud alert of who the payment went to that i thought something was definitely wrong. I contacted the company through their contact info on their site, they responded my order was on the way..tracking info was in Chinese..i asked if they were scamming me, they said sorry for delay..after many attempts to track this and it saying in transit..it came up as delivered which never happened. I contacted them several more times and now i get the your order is on the way response ..delivered, on the way...neither of which were ever truthfully intended. This is exactly the kind of thing that keeps people from purchasing on-line...always someone out their taking advantage of others.

Now ill have to try and get this back thru my bank.

It showed up as a sale alert as bed bath & beyond, it seemed real so I places the order then aftee I reviewed the confirmation email, I realized the email came from a different email, not bedbath&beyond. The payment pending in my account says Essentialsempo HongKong HK
