I went on what I thought was the Bath and body Works site to order hand soaps. Somehow I got on a different site that was Bath & body zone instead of Bath & body Works. All the products look the same and they did use the name at the top “Bath & body Works.“ I put my credit card information in to pay. It then said it had to send a code to my phone to verify payment. I did receive that code to my mobile phone and inputted the information. It appeared the sale went through, but I never got an order or confirmation number. It also said I would get an email confirmation which I did not. Upon completion of the sale, I looked on my credit card statement and noticed there were four new entries. They were marked “detail not available“ and we’re for $0 each. When I called my credit card company, they said it did look suspicious so I closed the card. I definitely feel this company was trying to scam me and make it look like they were the real Bath and body Works.
