They called me on the phone from a number that looked like Bank of America. Told me my social security number had been breached. That my number had been released in to the public and someone was trying to open a bank account in my name and purchase over 14000 in my name. They said they could help me correct it.. they sent me to 2 different people. Telling me about my credit how many cards i had and that the banks and credit card companies was breaking the law they are charging to high intrest on someone over the age of 65.they said they could help by lowering what i owe and combining into 1 payment. They would settle my debt in 6 to 12 months and what remained would be paid in 1 payment with no interest. They kept me on the phonw for over 3 hours talking about every card i have. Asking me if i bank with any of the ones that carried my card. They asked if anyone made my decisions or helped make decisions. If anyone has a power of attorney. Everytime it tried to leave0 the confirsation they stressed this had to be done that minute. Before anyone could use my social and after i did this all would be good.i sighned a 12 month agreement after that 12 months if they had not settled the debt we could sign a new agreement i am sure for more money.i called that number they called me from bank of america said that these people use that number to scam people and no record of anyone trying to open an account in my name
