Avast sent me an email from [email protected] that $499 will be auto debited on 2/24. As of today, no charge appears to debited from account. I call the phone number to cancel (415)323-5472. A rep named Alex Peterson answered with an Indian accent. He remote access into my computer to down a refund form from www.teamviewer.com but said he couldn't help me because the tech was unavailable. Alex called me back about 15 minutes later from number 571-410-6100 and said that a tech told how to get the refund form. I filled out the form which included bank name not the number and submitted. Then he told me to go online to my bank to see if the practice transaction was there which would show $1.00. I check it on my phone instead. Low and behold, the $499 was never deducted and the $1.00 was not there, either. He asked me again that I have to use my computer to check my account. I did not and hung up. Then, I got several calls from 916-848-4698 and with an Indian accent that he is calling from the BBB.com and ask me what happened. I told him the Alex wanted me to log in to my bank account, said that I did not because when I check it on my phone the $499 was never deducted.
