Au Pair Facebook Post Reports & Reviews (1)

I’m an Au Pair looking to extend with another host family so I joined Facebook groups to see offers. This person posted an offer (which can’t be found anymore) and asked to send him an email if it looks interesting to someone, I sent the email saying I’m with cultural care agency and he told me that if I was interested in working for his family I would have to switch my agency, I told him I’m not interested in doing that. After, I saw a post of people saying that if a host family ask you to switch your agency to Apex Procare it’s probably a scam and they are gonna make you pay 2000 dollars for the “switch”. Note: if you’re an Au pair in extension you can’t switch agencies. If you really want to switch your agency you would have to go back to your country and start the process again with the agency you’re interested in switching.
