Type of a scam Online Purchase

I was purchasing some ducks through “ducks for sale near me” and I had to send them $146 for the four ducks, which included $23 in shipping. I had to send the money through Relle. They wouldn’t accept credit cards. I was supposed to receive the ducks the next day and there was an email from the shipping company asking me to confirm the delivery address which I did and then they sent another email saying that I needed to send them $200 for renting the crate or $600 for buying the crate. They said they would give the money back in cash at the delivery of the pet if I rented the crate and then I started asking a lot of questions. I started researching and found that I was being scammed. Now they wanted another $52 for holding the ducks for two days while I held off. I asked the the person who I have been dealing with on “ducks for sale near me” to pay them the storage out of what I paid her and then to refund me the rest and I haven’t heard back from anybody since then. I will be reporting on “ducks for sale near me” next.
