Report

We paid $2,521.06 via ACH to purchase two shipping containers from Atlas Container Supply. Their shipping company, Blue Star Shipping Group, reached out demanding an additional $2,500 "refundable insurance" deposit before delivery, which was never disclosed in our order or Atlas's published policies. Our Atlas rep said we must pay it, but we were concerned this could be fraudulent and did not make the additional payment. When we requested the refund, the Atlas rep (Jason) said he would refund but we never heard back. Reported to FTC and reached out to our bank immediately.
