I received a phone call from a document delivery service stating they had a delivery for a civil suit against me. I called them back and spoke with a lady named Diane. I gave her my reference number and she said they needed my date of birth to verify my identity or they couldn't discuss the file with me. I said I was not giving them that information and asked if they could verify it another way and they said no. I told her I guess I will wait until the delivery arrived and asked where they were sending it. She then verified an old address of mine. I told her that isn't my address so I guess I won't be receiving the documents. She persisted to say unless I give her my date of birth then we can't help each other. I said then I guess we can't and hung up the phone.

I was called by an unknown number asking me if I would be home because they had paperwork they needed to deliver to me. When I asked who they were and what they wanted the male stated “I’m Max Reid from document delivery service and I just need to see if you will be home”. I asked for his contact info and he gave me 1-844-386-8670 he said he himself had no incoming number only an outgoing number.

I called the 844 number and a female answered and stated that they are Associates Group and that they had a civil claim filed against me but they refused to give any more information until I gave my address to “prove” who I am. I hung up. But I’m worried because they call from “UNKNOWN”
