I was looking for bouncy house rentals for my child's 2nd birthday. I contacted Jennifer's Party Rentals LLC over Facebook marketplace. They gave me the prices and their website (ashleyspartysupplies.com) and I put down a deposit of $100 on September 30, 2025. I sent the deposit to Pamela Purvis at 773-306-8748. It seemed legit, they have 4.6k followers, a website, email and phone number. I followed up today (10/7/25) for a receipt and their address, no response. So I called the number on their Facebook profile (214-531-7475). I got an answering machine that said leave a name and they will get back to me, so I gave a different name. A man calls me back immediately and ask if we are having a conversation over Facebook and my name, I said yes, then gave him my real name. I asked for their address and he said he would send it to me over FB Messenger. I said that is not necessary you can tell me over the phone. Then he hung up. I called the number back and it had been disconnected. BE AWARE!!!!
