The Prison Cure website (AshleyRyan17.wixsite.com; attached email: ashley@HERSMARTMARKETING) stated that it was a BBB-accredited charity and listed on GuideStar/Give.org, which it was not. The website also claimed that all proceeds from its toy sales would go to this charity, which does not appear to exist.

In addition, the site advertised a $5,000 course that was supposed to help individuals better cope with having a loved one in prison. This course was advertised to begin in Fall 2024, but it never started. When I double-clicked on the links on the website, it led error pages or pages not found.

These statements were misleading to consumers, as they reasonably believed the website was affiliated with a legitimate, BBB-accredited charity.
