Type of a scam Employment
(2) Aretec, Inc. posted a job offer, after having to state my PII information (Name, Address, Phone Number, Email).
(3) Check this website: https://aretecinc.com/executive-team/. Emails came from Brian Kulick and Cindy Elkins.
(4) Told me to accept, as long as I pay $3550 in "training fees" of $40/hr before actually starting "employment" of $70/hr.
(5) Standard 3-month probation, but if job rescinded, then 1-month of pay will be paid to them. Exploitative contract.
(6) Tried to ask for bank name through Google Chat, before I stopped them. Scam trying to take my PII away.

Responsibilities
Organize, direct, and manage all aspects of contract operational support functions within the Project involving multiple complex and inter-related Agile software development project tasks that often require managing teams of contractor personnel at multiple locations.
Provide overall direction of project activities.
Manage and maintain contractor interface with the senior levels of the customer's organization to monitor and report on customer satisfaction.
Consult with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs, and contractual obligations.
Working Hours
You will be expected to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. As a result, the 'COMPRESSED WORK-WEEK SYSTEM' will be implemented. This enables you to work 40 hours or fewer in a five-day spam (Monday-Friday) period. You may start earlier or finish later than the normal workday. However, you may be required to put in long hours and work on weekends and public holidays as the job requires.
Training
You will be assigned a supervisor who will get in touch with you by email or a zoom call to walk you through our company's policies. He or she will instruct you on how to appropriately use specific Programs in accordance with US Human Resources legislation and regulations and the arranging of a one-week training.
Your training is going to be done virtually via Zoom video Conferencing, the time and date of this meeting will be communicated to you as soon as possible. In regard to our privacy, Confidentiality and code of conduct policies, you are to note that your successful interview and job offer doesn’t 100% guarantee that you’re an employee of Aretec yet as you will be subjected to a training process. So, for now this offer is provisional and can only be denied if you perform very woefully with your training without any form of diligence and the management sees you very unfit.
Furthermore, you’d have to make use of the company’s software and equipment for your training and not your personal desktop, The materials will automatically be yours if you’re able to work for a business period of 12 to 16 weeks. You can be rest assured that you will receive an invoice and a list detailing the total equipment expected to be delivered to you.
Laptop/Phone/Data
As we expect you to work with your laptop, we will make provision for you every month over the next 1/2 years for phone and Laptop purposes, and also provide allocation for a monthly internet subscription.
