I received a text message from 855-970-8980 claiming to be Apria. Despite my account being current, the text message stated I owed $59.00 and that I needed to call 833-641-6706 to set up a payment method. I do purchase DME through Apria, but have never used the number I was texted from or the number I was instructed to call. I will be reaching out to Apria tomorrow to inform them, but I see from other complaints filed here that this appears to be an imposter attempting a scam.

I was contacted via text message that stated "Hello, this is Apria! Call 833-641-6706 to set up a payment method for your $95.44 balance due. Thank you. Reply STOP to optout. Msg&Data rates may apply."

I use epay for Apria bills, and the amount does not match any of my recent bills. Similar texts were sent 7 months and 10 months ago.
