A computer-generated voice says there is a problem with your Apple device and asks to you "Press 1" to speak to technical support.

- Vancouver, WA, USA

Apple Inc calling to inform me of an iCloud breach. I hung up immediately. They have been calling all day, leaving messages on my answering machine, saying if i'd like to speak to someone, press 1, if Id like to hang up, press 2. We have unplugged our phones to try to stop the constant calling, but cannot do that for long.

Apple Support - said iCloud account had been compromised and I needed to give them access to protect my computer. Also that I needed to go to Walgreens and buy 4 $100 cash cards in order to pay for the repair of the computer. I did find that my firewall had been disabled so I enabled it again and called banks and requested text messages for any charges to accounts.

3 (landline) recorded message phone calls on Sunday, 8-05-18. All came from caller ID "Apple Inc." #406-606-5775 with same message to call back at #800-912-9837. I don't have any Apple products in my home. I have received numerous calls in the past trying to pull the "Microsoft" scam on me. I recently began answering my phone (when the caller ID shows someone I'm not familiar with) "Sheriff's Dept, Fraud Unit" (lol) - they just hang up now! But will continue to report all calls.

- Lubbock, TX, USA

I received seven phone calls last night between 6:00 and 8:30, stating they were with Apple Inc. and there was a problem with my iCloud. I do not have any Apple products. Four of the phone calls were from 408-606-5775. This is very irritating and I consider it to be harassment with so many calls in such a short time frame.

They are using Apple store phone numbers. When I call the number back, the store manager tells me there have been numerous complaints. Someone is using there phone numbers. When they call it's automated and says this is Molly, we have information to believe your icloud account has been breached by someone overseas. The first time I pressed 1 as suggested to see what they were trying to do. A Foreigner asked if my icloud account was used overseas. I said no, what should I do? They hung up. But have still called back (6:42pm on 4/24, 11:21 am 4/25, 12:23 pm on 4/25, 1:00 pm 4/25). I gave 4 numbers they used. They all belong to an Apple store in CA.

- Lubbock, TX, USA

Received calls from 6 different telephone numbers with caller-id appearance of "Apple Inc.", claiming in a prerecorded message that my iCloud account has been hacked and I should call toll-free 360-245-6944 to take care of it. Since I don't have any Apple products or iCloud account, of course I ignored all the calls. I'm reporting this to warn others.

Now its down to one a day or every other day including Sunday. Last call so far was Sat-4-14-18.They ask you to answer phone or call Support Tech or 1-303-256-2580 .I don't have Apple Products and don't use cloud storage of any type that I know of.

- Henrietta, TX, USA

We received many calls about our iCloud being compromised. I answered 2 calls, and it was a man with a heavy accent and lots of background noise. I told him I would call AppleCare, and he hung up. I answered one more call later, and got the same scam, so I hung up on him. I have called AppleCare and Apple and both say it is a scam.

The calls were from several different area codes, but these are the last ones we got.

3-24-18 661 396 3480

3-24-18 781 653 0970

3-24-18 205 909 2570

3-26-18 707 508 3500

3-26-18 951 326 2400

3-27-18 847 205 2020

The numbers appear to be Apple Store numbers, but somehow they are showing fake numbers on caller ID

- Spokane, WA, USA

On 3/13/18, three times in 30 minutes calls with the Caller ID that matches the actual phone number to the Apple Store in Riverpark Square Spokane left automated recordings stating that our Apple ID had been compromised. The recorded voice was the same as a message from the previous day with a 1-833 number and previously reported as a scam.

- Upperco, MD, USA

I am not sure if the type of scam I selected is correct but the call begins automated Stating that "This is Molly from Apple calling because there is reason to believe that your iCloud could have been compromised." I have received approximately 10 calls today 3/14/18 alone, the latest coming through at 9:24 pm. Each time is it has come from a different number and the number it gives you to call back, if you do not wish to talk to someone at that time is different. Not sure what info they are going to ask for because I didn't get past telling them that I have recorded all the numbers involved and that I am reporting them.

- Dallas, TX, USA

They are leaving voice messages on the home phone saying our Apple product has been breached.

I actually answered one of the calls and a man with an Indian accent said "your product has been breached".

I asked what product and he said "your iCloud". I asked what device and he said "computer". When I asked

which computer because we have more than one.....he HUNG UP the call.

I called Apple Customer Support and confirmed that it is absolutely a phishing scam.

- Dolgeville, NY, USA

I had three calls within two hours saying I had a security breach on my iCloud. One of them wanted to know if someone in another state had my passcode, another said I could not solve my problem until I got on a computer. I called the real Apple and they said it was definitely not legitimate. Then I had the third call, and when I told them they were scammers they hung up. I gave them no info. I am old, not stupid!

- Spokane, WA, USA

Received 3 voicemails on 6/26 and 4 voicemails on 6/30 with a computer-generated woman's voice telling us to call tech support at 1-855-275-7412.
