I was contacted by the Choose App to advertise on their app as a business. They continually reached out to me because they were interested in having my brand on their app. I kept telling them it wasn't a good time because they kept contacting me during the busiest times of the year. Finally, when January 2025 rolled around, they contacted me again and I said I would like more information about how everything works. They told me that I needed to discount my products and that they would take a 20% commission, on top of the discounted products. I would also need to pay for all the shipping costs. I decided to continue, but as I went through the launch date, they started hitting me with information they had not told me before I agreed. For example, they did not tell me that I wouldn't receive payment for my sales until after the campaign (me being on the app) was over. They also didn't tell me that there was a withdrawal period of 30 days (I literally just found out about this today), which would delay my payment even further. They asked if they could extend my campaign, but I didn't reply right away because I was really busy. They then extended my campaign without my permission, which meant that I wasn't going to be getting the money from the sales for an even longer period of time. I asked if there was a way they could send the money early because my campaign was over, and they talked to their processing department and were able to approve a 50% withdrawal. However, they then scheduled it to be after March 1st, which was when I needed the money by (I have emails showing all of this). They said there wasn't anything they could do and they couldn't rush it. They wanted to pay me through Bill.com, so I had to create an account in order to get the money. Once the money was sent to my Bill.com account, I didn't realize it but I had to actually process the payment through my Shopify account, and then pay credit card fees and processing fees in order to get the money. So I lost even more money through that. I was just made aware today that I can't even get my invoice for the rest of my money until March 31st - and then at that point I can try to process the payment, pay more credit card fees, and wait even longer to get my payment. I knew NONE of this before signing up, and I'm pretty sure I asked about all this when we were emailing back and forth. It seems as though they don't care and they aren't very willing to help. I would love some help with rushing the process to get my money - I sold about $1100 in products on the app and I'm only going to be getting about $840 from it, and I looked at their Terms and Conditions and information on their website and there is NOTHING about these wait periods and times anywhere. I have lots of bills to pay and I'm going to go in the negative on some of my accounts now because I can't get access to the money they promised me!
