I received an email from a man named Alvin Miller in reponse to a craigslist posting searching for an apartment to rent, saying that the landlord of an apartment would contact me. Then I received a call from a man named Eric Griffin. He gave me an adress to an apartment that I saw in person but no one else was there. The door was left unlocked. After i told him that i liked the apartment he pressured me to pay him 4000 dollars to take the apartment off the market. I paid in cashier checks to his bank account. He was not able to produce keys or a lease and i could not move into the apartment. He said he would give me back 3500 dollsrs and has not returned any money. Now he wont reply to my messages.
