Animal Rescue Reports & Reviews (1)

- Brooklyn, NY, USA

Hello,

I wanted to shine a little bit of light on P’nuts Freedom Farm INC in Upstate Pine City, New York.  A 501(c)(3) operated by ML & his wife, DBL.

This “charity” is run by fraudsters who scam their followers on their social media platforms into raising funds for an animals that need to be URGENTLY rescued from “KILLPENS” or off the “Slaughter Line Auction.” in reality, these animals have already been pulled off the slaughter lines and from terrible situations by REAL animal rescues and sanctuaries. There they are treated and given medical care, proper nutrition, and all the love they need to be nursed back to health and adopted out to forever homes. The adoption fees from these rescues are generally low. M and D pretend they are rescuing from kill pens and slaughter auctions and request exorbitant amounts of money to ‘save’ these animals, when in reality they are paying a minimal adoption fee to shelter for an absolutely safe and healthy animal.

M & D pull on their followers heartstrings as a way to entice them to “donate” that the animal that they’re trying to save is going to get slaughtered if they don’t raise the “funds.” A complete lie to raise triple or quadruple the amount of money than actually need.

Their most recent scam, a horse named Wilma, a 20 year old Percheron mare, was up for adoption by **** ****** Ranch in **********, Pa. Her adoption fee was a mere $350 which included current vaccines, negative Coggins test, dental floating, de-worming and farrier trimming.

M and D claimed on their Instagram & Facebook platforms that they needed $2700 in donations in order to save Wilma from a “kill pen.” Their goal was on their Instagram fundraiser, yet they continued to raise funds on their Facebook Fundraiser, upwards of $3300 for a horse that in reality cost $350. The couple lives only 2 hours from **** ****** Ranch and has a horse trailer, so travel expense was not a factor.

This is how they defraud their followers. A heart breaking story, an urgent time sensitive plea, a super inflated price tag, all in order to generate extra donations.

These donations help fund their lifestyle, luxury cars, million dollar home, etc that is shown off on their private accounts.

Also, part of their unethical fundraising practices, they use private Instagram Broadcast Channels, along with Facebook and Instagram LIVES to promote the fact that they both currently exchange their private, ultra explicit pornography for donations to their sanctuary. They claim ‘the more that is donated the more hardcore and explicit’ the content they send will be. Both D and M sell pornography on OnlyFans as their full time jobs. They are using sex in exchange for donations.
